The DRS provides numerous services and training for the doctoral students of their member programs who are matriculated at the Freie Universität Berlin:

 

 

The doctoral program Biomedical Sciences at the Dahlem Research School opens its courses to BSRT students if places are available. BSRT students shall contact the BSRT coordination office if they wan to register for a course.Click here for the courses of the doctoral program Biomedical Sciences

 

 "The Dahlem Research School (DRS) functions as a center for the promotion of junior scholars and scientists. It is responsible for developing strategies to promote doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers at Freie Universität. The Dahlem Research School also serves as the framework that encompasses the outstanding structured doctoral programs offered by Freie Universität.
The Dahlem Research School drafts and implements university-wide quality standards for structured doctoral programs. As it does so, it supports both established graduate schools and research training groups and new initiatives.
The Dahlem Research School offers doctoral candidates who are enrolled in programs affiliated with the school supplementary opportunities for financial aid, interdisciplinary courses that provide students with key skills for later work in academia or other professions, systematic career planning support, and a Welcome Center, whose ac
tivities include  organizing the Orientation Weeks for newly admitted doctoral students and offering special services for international graduate students"
